I have had a very trying emotional day. Today is one of those days that I wish I could exchange what I have gained in physical strength for emotional strength. Did I survive today? Yes, praise God! Do I think I handled what was thrown my way today better because I am fit and healthy? Absoultely!! I honestly believe that when we work out and eat healthy we are not only creating a strong body, but we are also creating a strong mind. It takes determination and commitment to stick to your health and fitness goals. As you accomplish them and as you get healthy physically I believe we also get healthier mentally. Something changes in our thinking pattern, and as we overcome obstacles and learn to do things we never thought we could physically our minds become stronger and in turn help us handle our emotions better as well. I’m sorry today’s post is short and not very elegantly written. I am tired and emotionally exhausted. Grateful that things are not worse then they could be, hopeful that they can get better, and prayerful that God is in charge of it all!!!
Ms.Trish,
I completely agree that our physical health plays a major part in our mental wealth and the same holds true that our mental health contributes greatly to our emotional. I’m not certain of what you have endured today, I can only assume and even greater than that I accept what has been revealed in the spirit. Either way I have lifted you in prayer, I have asked that God will use those that you have poured into as vessels to pour back into you. Keep your head up and trust that all things will work for your good. God Bless You!
Thank you for your kind words and prayers, I truly believe when we struggle to hold ourselves up we go on because the prayers of others…
