It was the 80’s baby!

Being a teenager in the 80s’ for me was like growing up in the twilight Zone, every thing was crazy but in a good way . Hair styles were crazy, outfits were over board and we produced great songs like lovergirl by Teena Marie and Just got Paid by Johnny Kemp.

I loved the 80’s, the 80’s had the best house parties and the bigger the your beat box was the more popular you were on the block.  Hip Hop was at it’s best and Reebok pumps was considered at the the time the new age sneakers. The song that everyone had on their mind was was Paula Abdul’s forever Your Girl and everyone wanted to know about Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

I believe the mind set was different in the 80’s,  it was care free and crazy and the bigger your hairstyle was the more you fit right in. If the 80’s was considered a person , it would be the middle child that always got in trouble and grew up to be known as the cool uncle in the family.

The 80’s was amazing for me and if there is one thing that I can say to the 80’s thanks for bringing us Lovergirl by Teena Marie
